Diana Gabaldon Book 9 – Tell The Bees That I Am Gone DELAYED?

Diana Gabaldon is holding her followers on tenterhooks about her new Outlander book, Go Tell The Bees That I Am Gone, published. While the novelist has not revealed when the book will be finished or when it will be published, there is fear that the latest outbreak of coronavirus – covid-19 – will have an impact and push it further back. For film news this week was a big one, as Vin Diesel car chase epic Quick 9 has been postponed to April 2021 for nearly a year.

A Quiet Place 2, starring as villain Emily Blunt and Cillian Murphy, was also delayed.

People were already starting to hear the news that No Time To Die was postponed from April to November for Daniel Craig’s last James Bond film, so will it eventually continue to affect book launches as well?

As it stands, Gabaldon remains actively involved on her official Twitter account, and although the author has shared a variety of virus-related warnings and news stories, she has not updated fans on her own novel.

“Please remember that we’ve CANCELLED the Harry Potter event tonight because of the Corona Virus case,” the writer posted today from the Shetland Library page. “We will keep you updated on any more program changes.”
